I live in Bali but I love & enjoy traveling interstate and overseas. My passport is current and I’m keen to photograph your wedding day wherever that may be!
I have been a professional photographer since 2006. During that time I have done a bit of everything but have since made the decision to concentrate on photographing people. Wedding Photography is my passion, but I do other moment photography as well such as; birthday, proposal, new born, sports, etc.
Try to avoid the middle of the day when the sun is directly overhead as it causes harsh shadows. The last hour of light before sunset is usually the most flattering for photography. Generally allowing 1 hour is ideal to get photographs with your bridal party and those precious photos as a married couple.
An overcast and cloudy forecast is great for soft light or creating some dramatic clouds on location. If we have harsh sunlight, I’ll put the sun behind you or aim to find an area of full shade so you stay comfortable as well as look your best.
I will work from a list for your family formal group photographs. However, with my experience I have built a mental checklist of shots that I feel are important throughout the day. One highlight about each wedding is how different they unfold and the impact that weather plays on the day. Shooting from a shot list will result in forcing certain poses and emotions, ultimately spoiling the true reality of the day. For these reasons, I do not shoot to an overall general shot list.
Yes, please let me know if you need the pricing and the demo as it’s not our primary product.
Yes please. Being on my toes capturing moments throughout the day is hard work. I do my best to work with the venue to ensure I eat the same time as the bridal party. This minimises any crucial moments happening during my down time.
For weddings outside Bali, I will discuss this with you if I feel it is necessary for the distance of your chosen location.
Typically you will receive the digital photographs 5-7 weeks after your wedding day.
Yes! I use a Bali based, professional printing lab for the prints.
No, only the selected photograph will be edited and sent to you. I will personally edited in the style that complements the work in my portfolio. I have a clean, timeless editing style to ensure your photographs will look beautiful for generations. Due to my belief of remaining true to the day, “Photoshopping” to modify body parts or elements in a photograph are not typically part of my editing workflow.
